The Spa of Essex Accepts SpaFinder Gift Certificates


The Spa of Essex sits on three secluded acres just minutes from quaint Essex Center. Upon entering the driveway you are consumed by beauty & tranquility and overcome by a feeling of peace. Once inside, the serene environment will facilitate complete relaxation & renewal. With a clear mind and relaxed body you will begin to nourish yourself physically, spiritually and emotionally. With seven treatment rooms including one wet room, a dedicated manicure and pedicure room, a makeup room , a relaxation room and more our Spa promises to satisfy your every relaxation, wellness and beauty desire.

Spa Policies:

APPOINTMENTS POLICY:
To ensure optimum satisfaction for our guests, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow you to become familiar with the facility and prepare for your journey to a higher level of health, peace and beauty. All services start promptly on time and an early arrival allows for you to change as needed and complete your client intake form. We ask that you provide a credit card number when booking your treatments. Walk-ins are also welcome.

When booking an appointment, all new clients are required to leave a credit card to reserve their appointment. In the event a client needs to cancel the appointment, she/he must do so at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled service. Failure to do so will result in an automatic charge of 50% of the cost of the service(s) cancelled.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY:
When booking an appointment, all new clients will be asked to leave a credit card number to reserve their appointment. In the event, a client needs to cancel the appointment, she/he must do so at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled service. Failure to do so will result in an automatic charge of 50% the of the cost of the service cancelled. “No-shows” will receive full charge to thier credit card for the reserved services.

All spa parties of 4 or more a subject to a 72 hour change/cancellation policy.  Failure to change or cancel any appointments 72 hours prior to arrival  will result in an automatic charge of 50% of the services cancelled.


RETURN POLICY:
We take great pride in our reputation for quality products.  If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we will assist you with a prompt exchange, refund or credit. Unopened (sealed) and unused items returned in their original packaging are eligible for a full refund within 10 days of purchase with a receipt.  A spa credit only is offered for all open/used items within 10 days of purchase with a receipt. We’re sorry, but we are unable to offer exchanges, refunds or credits after 10 days from purchase or for any items that are damaged through normal use. Gift cards are non-refundable.

6% CT Sales Tax:
A 6% CT sales tax applies to waxing services. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Prices:
All prices are subject to change without notice. The Spa of Essex makes every effort to ensure all prices shown on the website and in print are accurate and up to date.

Gratutities:
Gratuities are not included in the service price.  If you are satisfied with your service, a 20% gratuity is recommended. An automatic 20% gratuity will be added to all services for parties of 4 or more and to all packages.

SpaFinder Gift Cards:
Spa Finder Gift cards are not accepted for payment towards any services or products that already enjoy a discount, coupon or promotion and may not be used towards the purchase of gift cards. This would include monthly specials, birthday discounts, Facebook specials, Spa Pedicure of the Month, gifts with purchase, sale items, etc. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Environment:
Please observe quiet and stillness while in the spa.  To ensure comfort for all clients smoking and the use of cameras, cell phones, beepers and pagers is prohibited.  We ask that you turn all devices to silent mode or off when arriving.

Client's Right to Know:
At The Spa of Essex we strive to exceed our clients needs. We believe that advising our clients of the products best suited for them is as essential as the service we perform. Therefore, our client's right to know policy advises each client on the products and techniques best suited for the client to maximize the benefits of their service. While we will make every effort to meet your requests, we cannot guarantee a specific therapist or gender. All therapists are trained in both treatment and draping protocols to ensure your comfort at all times.

Spa Parties:
A delightful way to celebrate any occasion in style, group events, Holiday Parties, Bridal Celebrations, Birthday Rituals, Meetings, Private Parties and Fundraising Events. For further information contact our party coordinators. We will customize your celebration to satisfy your every need.
